how to inject RTF file to RichTextBlock RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it possible to open the RTF file and then setting the the rich text on RichTextBlock ? RichTextBox has Document.SetText() method. How can I do same in RichTextBlock ? I don't want RichEditBox in read only mode. I also want text column UI like in Grid Template.

  • Hi Xyroid,

The RichTextBlock doesn't support the RTF format. The RichEditBox is the only in-box control which supports RTF. If you don't want to use that then you would need to parse the RTF yourself and create the block elements for the RichTextBlock.
