DSS Problems with Robotics Tutorial 4 RRS feed

    I'm trying to learn how to use VPL and running through the tutorials in a serial fashion.  I completed the first three VPL tutorials using April CTP, found out that there is a new one for July, re-installed, and have attempted the 4th tutorial.

     

    I don't have an X-BOX 360 controler that I can use for this so I've taken the suggestion to complete the Robotics Tutorial 4 (VPL) - Drive-By-Wire.  I have configured my diagram exactly the way the tutorial suggests, but when I run it the I'm seeing in the Console Output Service - Debug and Trace Messages:

    The failure of DSSPForwarder to resolve tcp://candorcasma.redmond.corp.microsoft.com:50001/drivedifferentialtwowheel seem like it might have something to do with the previous binding issues "Partner enumeration during service startup failed".  Honestly I know so little that I'm stuck at this point.  Can anyone help me troubleshoot this issue?

  • Presistance pays, I just completed VPL Tutorial 4 - Run Simulation From VPL and after I added SimulationTutorial3.manifest.xml everything started working, both the differential drive and the transport service.

     

    Presistant enough to experience occasional dumb luck!
