  • Hi Dietrich,

    Please provide the steps to see the issue. Can you explain what is different in what you see versus what you expect?  I am not located in Europe and am not familiar with the image above or how it might be incorrect.

    Sincerely,

    Justine

  • Hi Justine,
    That's what you want?

     //Load the directions module.
                Microsoft.Maps.loadModule('Microsoft.Maps.Directions', function () {
                    //Create an instance of the directions manager.
                    directionsManager = new Microsoft.Maps.Directions.DirectionsManager(map);
                    directionsManager.setRequestOptions({
                        routeMode: Microsoft.Maps.Directions.RouteMode.driving
                        , itineraryContainer: '#directionsItinerary'
                        , distanceUnit: Microsoft.Maps.Directions.DistanceUnit.Miles
                        , strokeColor: 'blue'
                        , strokeThickness: 6
                    });
                    //Specify the element in which the itinerary will be rendered.
                    directionsManager.setRenderOptions({ itineraryContainer: '#directionsItinerary', displayStepWarnings: false });
                    //Create waypoints to route between.
                    var beg = new Microsoft.Maps.Directions.Waypoint({ address: start });
                    var end = new Microsoft.Maps.Directions.Waypoint({ address: ziel });
                    //Calculate directions.
                    directionsManager.calculateDirections();

                    Microsoft.Maps.Events.addHandler(directionsManager, 'directionsUpdated', directionUpdated);
                });

    As you can see the blurred street sign is a European one...
    Another question, perhaps you can tell me:
    How can I get the 'maneuver' data from leg - subleg of a route? I didn't find a sample to write the order in the right way...

    Cheers-

  • There are a few oddities I am hitting in Windows with my extended monitors and images but it is not maps related. I think it is an issue in my graphics subsystem on my Surface pro so I am going to check into my video drivers when I get some time.
