IE 10 adding trash to URL RRS feed

    Guys,

Not sure if anyone had this problem, but our web application is completely useless on IE10 because the browser added weird characters to URL after user login.

For example, instead of http://abc.vn/TrangThai.aspx, it shows http://abc.vn/(F(ivRqUuNAVDQQUBAieH_FyLdoBsbit-_Czs2gW9h5tTYUZBr-MxkvF2rloyAr0P8vzUWXnwURbEhqO4sFNGhLeIlPPiscxKgwjvZC98UOoLigCpQYsnZ9o2RR1XpuYQBR0))/TrangThai.aspx

We use AspNet on .net v4, login uses asp.net membership.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Eric

Your site is using cookieless sessions for some reason

Edit: Looks like it is a problem with IE10 headers not handling cookies properly

FYI: I don't have cookieless="true" anywhere in my Website web.config or my services web.config. And it only happens with IE10....

I'll look at the stackoverflow link and report back. Smile

    Thanks much

Normally, the possible values for "cookieless" attribute are:

    1. AutoDetect : Session uses background cookie if cookies are enabled. If cookies are disabled, then the URL is used to store session information.

    2. UseCookie: Session always use background cookie. This is default.

    3. UseDeviceProfile: Session uses background cookie if browser supports cookies else URL is used.

    4. UseUri: Session always use URL.

Please check you cookieless value in config for <sessionState> tag
