Sensor callbacks in windowless app RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm want to write a Windows 7 app that runs in the background, and rotates screen based on accelerometer input. The problem is the Sensor event callbacks seem to happen only when I have modal dialog tied to my app. If I replace the modal dialog with a forever loop (windowless app), then the callbacks won't come in. But I need this app to not show any window or taskbar item. Any clue?

    Regards,

    DYH

  • I have a workaround which is to hide my modal dialog. This is good enough for now. However, i'm still curious if I can use sensor api callbacks in windowless or console app. Has anybody tried this before?
