Designer display problem after converting a VS 2003 project to VS 2010 RRS feed

I have a VS 2003 solution with pages containing arrays. In the VS 2003 designer the pages are correctly displayed.

I have converted the project to VS 2010 and set the ASP.NET 2.0 framework for the project.

In the VS 2010 designer the pages are not correctly rendered (array colums size, rows on each other,...). However, when i run the application (by pressing F5), the rendered is OK (i use the VS 2010 web server).

I try to add the meta <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=5" /> in a page but without any success.

Is there a way to display the pages created under VS 2003 correctly in the VS 2010 designer ?

    Thanks for your help.

I don't think there is. As far as I recall, the designer in 2003 was effectively based on the  IE (Trident) rendering engine. At some stage, (2008, I think) a new rendering engine was introduced that wasn't based on IE, or any browser, in fact. It sounds like your pages are developed using some quirkiness in IE 5/6 which browsers can cope with, but the designer can't.

    Thanks for your answer.

Does it mean i must re generate all the pages with 2010 editor ?

And if convert 2003 to 2005 then to 2010 ?

If you are reliant on the visual designer, then you probably will have to try to fix the broken bits.
