Delete Bullet Items in "My Places" RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have several items in "My Places" that I'd like to delete. I don't see any "DELETE" on the "My Places" menu or on the context menu when I right click on one of the item. When I click on the item I have nothing in the list that is presented, that's why I want to delete it on the main "My Places" screen.

  • If you want to remove all the items in a My Places collection, select the collection and then go to Actions -> Clear. This will remove all items in that collection. If you want to delete a single item, select it from the list to show it on the map and then click on it. In the infobox is a delete button.

  • You could use the 'X' as on the image also.. You need to hover over the item to see it though.

  • Whenever I try to delete a list, I get an error message saying the server is currently unavailable and that I should try again later. This is the third week that I've tried it and it still won't work. Any thoughts?

  • Have you tried the feedback button on the site (Left bottom corner)? The Bing Maps consumer site is just another Bing Maps customer who has built an application on top of the Bing Maps development platform. These forums are only meant for the development API's and is unrelated to custom functionality built on that site.

I'll see if I can find someone from Bing search to look into this as this would site in their domain.
