Adding a notification icon to the top right part of a Master-detail

I would like to add a notification button (&image) in the top right corner of a master-detail page.

Can someone point me where I am suppose to do that (xaml?) I'm trying to get this to work with the example they provide: https://github.com/xamarin/xamarin-forms-samples/tree/master/Navigation/MasterDetailPage
