(Form application) BluetoothLEAdvertisementWatcherStatus is allways aborted RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am working on a windows form application that uses the Bluetooth Low Energy standard.

Whenever I declare a BluetoothLEAdvertisementWatcher with a received callback and start the watcher, the watcher will allways keep it's status at 'Aborted'. I found a lot of solutions only working with UWP apps, (giving the app permissions in the windows privacy settings) , however, am unable to find a solution for my form application.

Anyone that can help me out? :)

    Regards,

  • Hi Daan,

    Thanks for posting here.

Have you tried UWP BLE Sample on your machine? Does it work fine?

The status 'Aborted' means that 'An error occurred during transition or scanning that stopped the watcher due to an error', do you get the error message?

Can you show us your code where your application goes wrong?

    Best Regards,

    Charles
