If trying to send sms to my own mobile phone using infra red or wireless connection 802.11... does anyone has any idea ? pls help

i just wan to try how to send sms using my own laptop, perhaps i wish to send sms using my intra red port and with my mobile phone to send it to others. In short, use my mobile as a media to send sms, but the message is from laptop. laptop -> infra red -> mobile phone -> send sms to anyone
