When using this tool within VS2012 debug I set my connection string to the name of the sdf?
I continually get the following error message
SQL Server Compact is not intended for ASP.NET development.
string constr = "testdb.sdf";
testdbContext db = new testdbContext(constr);
var q = from p in db.Testdata
You must use SQL Server Compact 4.0 with ASP.NET. version 3.5 wont work.
If testdbContext is a LINQ to SQL DataContext, initialize with a SqlCeConnection object, not a database file name. Also see my blog post here: http://erikej.blogspot.dk/2013/10/sql-server-compact-4-desktop-app-with.html
Please mark as answer, if this was it. Visit my SQL Server Compact blog http://erikej.blogspot.com
