.net 1 assembly accessed by .net 3.5 problem RRS feed

    Hi

I have an assembly in the GAC which was written in .net 1. I'm trying to access this from a new project but a lot of my functions wont show up. The error is "function" is not a member of "class"

Any ideas why this is and what I might need to change possibly in the assembly. I can't really upgrade this assembly because we have .net 1 apps that are still using it.

    Thanks

    Jon

  • The problem seems to have been with the way visual studio upgraded my project. It changed some things that it shouldn't have.

    The problem is sorted now.

  • What makes you think it's the framework version the assembly was compiled against that causes the problem?

Does anything in the assembly work? Can you post an exact error message?
