Skeleton data on UWP? RRS feed

  • Question

  • The "small supplemental Kinect-specific SDK" is still not available to access "skeleton data" as detailed here:

    https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/kinectforwindows/2016/05/13/kinect-and-uwp-new-options-in-the-windows-10-anniversary-update/

Any news on when this will be released?

This is an essential component for making the Kinect fully usable with UWP.

I second this question. As I've written in other posts, it would be really helpful to get any kind of news/time plan from Microsoft.

  • I agree, it is high time that some progress in relation to the development and Kinecto for windows v2 support on UWP platform Windows 10, the year is over and it seems that Microsoft forgot about this device and focused its efforts on Hololens be announced leaving back to the community of developers using the Kinect v2
