  • Section 3.1 of MS-DOCO refers to MS-PROTO. MS-PROTO is part of MCPP, it probably is not immediately obvious that if you have downloaded the WSPP set that you also need the MCPP to get this document although it does say Windows Client...

  • MS-DOCO references overview documents in both “Windows Communication Protocols (MCPP)” and “Windows Server Protocols (WSPP)”. MS-PROTO is the MCPP overview document and MS-SYS is the WSPP overview document.

     

    If you have downloaded either the full MCPP PDF package or the full WSPP PDF package and you are reading MS-DOCO, you will find that either the MS-PROTO or MS-SYS document is not included. You can obtain the missing document by downloading the single PDF or by downloading the other PDF package at http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc216517.aspx.
