Azure Database Sync process failed RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

    We have implemented a application for sync and it was running successfully. When we tried with a large database it gets failed. So we grouped with list of tables and doing group wise sync. This group wise sync process also ran successfully. But yesterday when we try to sync some tables getting following error.

    The schema info could not be retrieved from the schema info table.'

    Before doing sync we are usually clear all objects related with previous sync using following function.

    SqlSyncScopeDeprovisioning deprovisioningvar1 = new SqlSyncScopeDeprovisioning(sqlAzureConn);

    deprovisioningvar1.DeprovisionStore();

    Usually if do the deprovision the db as per the abov, it should be remove all the objects related with previous sync and should be start new one.

    But still getting error 'The schema info could not be retrieved from the schema info table.'

    Any idea...?

  • Hi,

    Have you deployed the application on Windows Azure? I would like to suggest you to debug your application locally first, for example ,you can use a normal ASP.NET or console application to test whether it works fine or not locally. If the same issue is encountered, since the issue is related to Sync Framework, you can post a thread in Sync Framework forums, there are more Sync Framework experts in Sync Framework forums.

    Best Regards,
