Error running web app locally - "This operation requires IIS integrated pipeline mode"

    Question

  • Recently when working on a web application I get the message "This operation requires IIS integrated pipeline mode: when I try to run locally using IIS Express. When I publish to a server it works OK. IIS settings on the local PC look OK. I did not have the problem a month ago. Where should I look for a solution?

  • Hi BobMalakoff,

Which VS version did you use? How did you really run your app?

For example, do you run the app locally in VS Ide? If so, what is your server setting option in your project property?

    >>This operation requires IIS integrated pipeline mode.

If you create a simple web app, whether it still has this issue?

This case shared some possible reasons which will generate this error messages, if possible, you could refer to it here:
