WCF RIA Services and Silverlight 4 in general

Hi!

I've started exploring Silverlight and WCF RIA Services and I'm having trouble finding information about how to do things that are not just plain out-of-the-box. For instance I'm trying to create a child window to edit a record, but not by using the DataForm, because I think I need a custom form to achieve what I need. Now I can't find any information about how to validate input, because all samples out there assume that the DataForm is being used.

I'm looking for a community site or at least a specialized forum for Silverlight 4 and WCF RIA Services developent. Does anyone know where I can find what I need?
