Pass email to original recipients after it was redirected by a Transport Rule RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an Exchange Transport Rule that diverts certain mail messages to an administrative mailbox for "processing".  Our program then "processes" the messages in this mailbox (using EWS API 1.0/C#) and will either keep the message or pass it along to its original recipients.

Is there a way (preferrably with EWS), to determine which recipients are "internal" mailboxes and copy the message to their Inbox?  Is there any other way that this type of "preprocessing" can occur without using a Transport Rule (something along the lines of a spam filter)?

    Thanks,

    Shaun
