Migrate windows server with ASP

I have a windows server , which running ASP program ( developed by former colleagues ) , IIS , this server want to migrate to newer version of windows .

I will install a new windows for this application , just would like to ask what application that I need to install for running the ASP program , does the windows server build-in application .net could run the ASP ? if not , what I need to install ? .net core / .net framework need to be install or not ?

classic asp is not installed by default with IIS but part of teh install options.
