Asp.net 3.5 and 4.5 on the same server

Can I install .net 4.5 on an older server with 3.5 without breaking any programs/websites using 3.5? Will both run side by side?

Sure.

Installing one version of .NET isn't going to dramatically affect another as they can run side-by-side as long as they are within different application pools.

All .net frameworkds can run on single machine..

You might have to adjust the asp.net version for your web sites in the iis but yes they should all run together.
