Crystal Report is free whereas Active Report is not

What is so amazing about this active report?

Also there is this telerik reporting which also has 30 day trial after which needs to pay.

    Hi  Dear,

Go with crystal report as easy to learn and availability of documentation. The thing is where to be used.

If you already working with any ui control and the same company also give report tool , then go with that as faster connect and also rectify with technical support.

The same though with me specially for telerik control and telerik report.

Yup I cant see the reason why people will use ActiveReports and Telerik instead of using crystal Reports.

After all, Crystal Report is free.

Is there anything ActiveReports and Telerik can do , that crystal reports is unable to do?

By the way the free crystal reports refer to this
SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio 2010 v

Not the newer SAP Crystal Reports 2013

Generally telerik report is used when we used telerik control or say telerik control based application. (this is chargable)

For active report, I was used when it was part of "Data dynamic", it is tedious job to assign field value and looping , everything done by code.  (this is also chargable :- http://www.componentone.com/SuperProducts/ActiveReports/ )

For crystal report, its give us good manipulation technique to show data and easy to learn.

So this are the choise to which one you used.  Currently crystal report, Sql Report and SSRS is used very widely. (this are free)

for crystal report 2013, please check this link :- https://scn.sap.com/thread/3440443
