  • The DotNetPanel language files was named DNP_Language_Pack_da-DK_2.8.12.zip and the WebsitePanel language file is named WebsitePanel Language Pack da-DK 1.0.1.zip. When importing a DNP language file i noticed that nothing was read/imported. I investigated in the source and I found that the import code is looking for a file that starts with "WebsitePanel Language Pack " so I renamed my DNP language file to WebsitePanel Language Pack da-DK 1.0.1.zip, but still no language code was imported. Further investigation lead to a bug where the import code still is expecting to find a DNP_Language filename, at least when reading a substring from the filename.

  • I did import the Danish DNP Language Pack, using the WebsitePanel Language tool. There is some bug in the current tool, so it does not work, unless You the bug is fixed. chrisadam301 is refering to the bugfix I have posted earlier. Also some of the names in the DNP Language pack need to be changes before the import.

  • Reusing the DNP Language packs.

This is a description of the procedure I used to Import and reusing the DNP language packs into WSP.

    1.       Try to find the language pack here : http://www.dotnetpanel.com/downloads/?CategoryID=5

    2.       Download the language pack and change the pack following these instructions http://sourceforge.net/projects/websitepanel/forums/forum/1126063/topic/3682368?message=8337569

    3.       Download the WebsitePanel Localization Toolkit from here: http://www.websitepanel.net/Downloads.aspx (There was an error in the 1.01 version of this toolkit, so make sure You get the 1.02 version, where the bug has been fixed.)

    4.       Install the Toolkit and import the updated Language pack.

    5.       Translate the missing entries and You will have an updated language pack for WSP.

    Hi!

I found the spanish package of DotNetPanel and following the instructions of objecta i could add the Spanish language to the Portal but this compilation is not imported for the WebsitePanel Localization Toolkit 1.0.2.

Anyway, the language pack is working now! :)

If there isnt a language pack available you need to either translate one yourself or get someone else to do it for you.

Just make a note that it's not 100%.
