Error while installing workflow integration services - MDS 2012. RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have been trying to install workflow integration services from msdn link, but not succesfull: -

    I get an error when i execute the below command from command prompt: -

    InstallUtil "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Master Data Services\WebApplication\bin\Microsoft.MasterDataServices.Workflow.exe"

    The error message is as below: -

    ion will be ignored and the rollback will continue. However, the machine might n
    ot fully revert to its initial state after the rollback is complete.

    The Rollback phase completed successfully.

    The transacted install has completed.
    The installation failed, and the rollback has been performed.

    I have tried using both workflow service (a local user which i created as mentioned in the link) account and the network service account (Both accounts are admin on the PC).

    Could someone help in resolving the same?

  • Can you try giving the full permission to folder for user installing the above and run the tool  in admin mode.
