Im well experienced in vb 2005 and am new to asp.net..

Im making a mobile site and have hosted it on iis on my laptop to check if it works on my mobile phone (it does) but.. On some other cellphones it says something along the lines of "not supported" etc.. these phones do NOT support html and ive noticed that on my fone it says the mime is html..

As i do not need (or want) this to be accessable on computers.. Is there any way of making asp.net render to and only to wml?

If you usnig the standard mobile controls then it should render to either WML or HTML based on the device capabilities, this is called adapter rendering.

The only problem is when you start using HTML or non mobile controls that you are restricting your consumer base to HTML browsers.

If you stick by the mobile controls you should be fine, alternatively if you only want to render WML only you can create a deviceSpecific filter for isWML
