Cannot run app in simulator without license. RRS feed

I am a Xamarin trial user and I was using iOS simulator for testing until today. I installed Xamarin.Studio (which includes new Monotouch) but when I try to run the app in simulator I get the following error:

Error MT9005: User code size, 499200 bytes, is larger than 32768 bytes and requires a Indie (or higher) license. (MT9005)

Does it mean that I must buy a license for running the app in the simulator? Using MonoDevelop results in the same error.

Is there any way to downgrade to previos monotouch? If not what should I do?

Xamarin Studio should ask if you want to start a 30-day Business trial, which allows you to use both the iOS simulator and any device you may have.

Why don't you any more allow deploying to the simulator after 30 days? In previous scheme there were no such restrictions.
