Metro Battery Status is not updating RRS feed

  • Question

  • ASUS 1215N.

The metro (start menu) battery status does not update. It requires a restart, then the status is updated.

However, the battery status in desktop taskbar is updating normally.

Any takes? or is it just a general bug?

  • Same here on a Gateway EC1803h netbook. I'd say just a general bug because this is such an early build.

There are other issues like the fact it wouldn't let me adjust brightness until I installed Intel's drivers. However, after a reboot I'm unable to adjust brightness again. Disabling and enabling the video adapter fixes this.
