Setting up Active-Active Geo-replication data architecture RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am looking for an architecture using SQL Server on Azure to provide database for a global application.  The application will be setup on different Azure regions within South East Asia.  To ensure high performance, we likely require database to be in each region.  There will be read-write access to all the databases and needs to replicate to each other.  Can someone advise on the architecture or is there any other capability in Azure to provide high performance access for such global application setup?  I am only to find geo-replication setup for high availability, which is an Active-passive setup.  Any advice will be appreciated.
