    Hi,

I am a .NET developer and know C#. I want to start developing an application for ANDROID. I heard about monodroid. Is that a good option for someone that wants to develop for ANDROID but doesn't know JAVA or is it better to just learn JAVA and develop with ECLIPSE?

What are the disadvantages of Monodroid over ECLIPSE and vice versa (if any)?

    Thanks

The only disadvantage is the eclipse tools are free and you have to pay for monodroid.

If you have a working knowledge of c# you will have no problem with JAVA at all, and Eclipse is very easy to use. I went down the same path a year ago and had no problem!
