  • Question

  • Hi,

    I have a Windows XP SP3.

On my computer have a lot crazy folders.

    Eg.:

    C:\0db9d987fb60a003cdb1502c3352

    C:\0f0e2e8ecc862c419a75d4dc174ae929

    and some files inside.

How can I delete this crazy folders?

Or, Setup windows XP create this folders inside if the other folder, not in Root (c:\)?

    Thanks in advantage.

  • These folders are likely created by some installers. They might contain some temporary files required for installation, or they might contain backups for files being overwritten or removed during installation or uninstallation. If there are some files, you can try to analyze what they are about and guess what program installation created them.

You should be able to delete that folder by just deleting them. You may need to be an administrator to delete them. If the assumption in my first paragraph is correct, there might be safe to delete all of them (at least that one which exists even after a few computer restarts).
