Sharepint maximum file upload limit for ducument library seperately.

Hi,

I want to set the maximum file upload limit to my document library seperately. For example i have choosen the maximum file upload limit upto 2 MB on web application level and now i want to limit one of my document library to 5 MB seperately keeping web application level uplaod limit to 2 MB.

Help me out for the same. Thanks for ur help.

This is not supported out of the box. The upload file size limit is a web application settings (as you noted) and is applicable to all libraries on all sites in the given web application. The only way to do what you are looking to do is to create a Event Receiver that can check the size of the document being uploaded and reject it if it exceeds a given size.
