Public folder scripting still possible RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it still possible to store in the exchange server with a public folder a script or program that is being executed when eg an message enters the public folder? I can remember that his existed in old exchange servers 2003 or 2000?

    Asked also here[1]

    UPDATE
I am not looking for client side solutions (eg in outlook)
I think I was using I think MAPI/CDO, which has been removed[2] grrr. But I also do not find that much on how to solve this via API rest,

  • i'm not aware of such a feature.. maybe with a transport rule .. but this would only be true with items sent to the pf by mail, and not by default pf usage.
