Help me! Design View has disappeared in my database

Question

I am relatively new to Access, and I have returned to a database to find that only datasheet view is available. Any ideas of what has happened?

What is the file extension of your database file?

Could you explain some more please.  Are the buttons simply not there, or are they there but disabled?  Have you tried right-clicking to access the context menu?

Hi Arborggirl,

Try to close your database and Access Application.

then try Restart the Access and open your Database.

try to double click on any table.

then you can go to "Home" Tab and click on "View".

you will see the available options for the view.

you can use the desired option.
