How to create an options tool window?? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I have a vspackage in vs2008. I want to provide a tool window for it which does some initial settings for the package.
My problem is I want only the tool window to be active at the time and not the editor window.
For example - When we open Tools->Options in visual studio only the options window is active, we cannot edit any thing on the editor or click any other button.
So, is there any property for tool window for this or any other method???

    Thanks for any help.

  • So far as I know, the option window is not a tool window but a dialog. So you can just create a modal Winform dialog instead.

    Thanks.
