  • I'm working on a project to develop a speech recognition application for dictation purpose for URDU language.

    I would recommend to install Windows 7 or above (if u don't have it already).
    And change the default language to URDU (If possible), and than try to use "text to speech" on windows. If it works good.

    Watch these after:
    PS: I don't know if the their method works, I only have these on my list I didn't saw yet. And even if it didn't work, you may have a hint with them.

    Based on my search, Microsoft Speech doesn't support Urdu language.

    However, you could use some third-party Recognizer to support Urdu language, please refer to the following link.
