autocomplete funcitonality in textbox in custom forms / form regions RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, is it possible to reuse the built-in  "To-field textbox" which is on the new e-mail message form?

I have a custom form which has a similar To-field and I would like it to behave the same way in terms of recipient suggestions and Ctrl-K resolution.

  • Hi Membrane,

Thanks for posting in the MSDN Forum.

As far as I know that To field is a build-in control of Outlook. You can add it to your form from this place.

I hope it can help you.

    Have a good day,

    Tom

  • Hi Tom,

i tried this approach now, but it wasn't quite what I desired but I suppose it can be an option, one drawback however is that the actual Control is bound to the To-field value, so depending on context of the item -  it will display differently.
