CE 7 Arm emulator RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Is there an ARM emulator that can be used to test CE7 Arm7 OS images?

As far as i see ,  "Microsoft Virtual PC 2007" is a Virtual PC x86 hardware, the previous Device Emulator 2.0  seems to support CE6 but no CE 7.

Seems that i need the real hardware to test Amr7 OS images, is that assumption right?

And last can you give me any recommendations for a board that can be used for prototyping/testing,

I just want a board that is well supported with CE 7

    Regards,

    Jose

  • yes in WEC 7 the ARM device emulator is replaced by Virtual PC which emulates, as you note, an x86.

Since WEC7 includes a BSP for the TI OMAP3530 evaluation module, that's would be a good choice in my opininon
