How to get the fore color of a text? Object model gives the same RGB value for all the text in all the slides. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I am exploring the Power Point 2010 object model to create a Add-in as a new project.

    I have been trying to the get Fore Color, Back Color and Bullet Font Color using Power Point Object Model. But I am getting the below same RGB value for all the text frames most of the times.

    Fore Color - A=128, R=0, G=0, G=0

    Back Color - A=0, R=255, G=255, B=255

    How to get the right Color object using these values? I know that these values are reversed as BGR instead of RGB. I have tried to use the below API method to convert but no success.

    Color.FromArgb(shape.TextFrame2.TextRange.Font.Fill.ForeColor.RGB);

    This is giving the wrong color value.

    Please help me.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Nat
