Displaying row number out of count rows (for example Box 3/6) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I need help with getting the row number out of count rows.

    My example is as follows:

I have one record with assigned 6 boxes. I want to assign to each box a number. For example if i have 6 boxes, i want to select one box (lets say third box) and print a sticker for box 3/6.

I have sql data source where i select all rows from details table with same master id:

SELECT [Id], [Dimensions], [Weight], [MasterId] FROM [Boxes] WHERE ([Id] = @Id)

I pass those parameters from url to sql source. Than it shows correct box.

Next what i did is count all the records where masterid = masterid

So now i have displaying Box 1/6 for every row because Box 1/ is plane text and 6 =Count(Fields!Weight.Value)

Now, how can i get from count rows number which row is selected?
