Academic Pricing for Visual Studio Online RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm having a difficult time determining whether or not Microsoft provides academic pricing or subscriptions for visual studio online. I utilized visual studio online last year under a trial account for agile development iterations for my systems analysis and development class, and it worked beautifully.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

    Ryan

  • Hi Ryan,

As far as I know, there is no academic license for Visual Studio Online at present. If you team member is no more than 5, then you can use Visual Studio Online Basic license and it's free. Check this page for more information about Visual Studio Online basic license. And this page for more information of Visual Studio Online pricing.

However, you can submit a User Voice here if you want to have an academic pricing for Visual Studio Online.

    Best regards,
