# platform game

• ### Question

• Good evening,

I would try to make a small platform game (simple).
Here's the reference:

DLX051

I would, at first:
- Streamline the movement of the main character (
I wish I could manage with the jump directions)

- Ensure that it can jump from one platform to another (what is the technique?) (Genre press 2 times the space bar to give more power to jump?)

There, I put everything on the same background. Maybe he should ask the different platforms, as an object or sprite?

Later, I'll add objects rammaser and others to avoid.

And online, the jump does not work, probably because of the speed of the Internet

Can you help me?

Thank you.

• What you want to do is create a variable holding the position of the player's Y coordinates. Then you initiate a loop that makes the player go up, and after a certain point, go down. The loop stops when the player hits the ground or touches a platform. When you are in the air you should be able to move, I think.

[EDIT]

For an example, see:

• Good evening,

I got to do collision detection with the icing. Should I happened to do it with other objects, etc ...

But I can not find a way to ensure that the player can land on the platforms, if they are falling over, etc ...

Could you help me?

Thank you.
