Error trying to call https enabled Exchange 2010 Web Services RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have to believe that this is possible, but I've been unable to figure this out.. I have added a Service Reference to https://mail..com/EWS/Services.wsdl. I get the following warning: Custom tool warning: No endpoints compatible with Silverlight 3 were found. The generated client class will not be usable unless endpoint information is provided via the constructor. I found this post http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1181057/silverlight-3-exchange-web-service that says that SilverLight 3 can't support HTTPS Binding.. But, there has to be a way to do this.. What am I missing? Thanks.

  • I am looking for the same thing. I would hate to think that the only option is to wrap the exchange services under your own webservice. It would be great if someone can confirm that this limitation exists or if we are missing something..
