DIffarence between developing a custom workflow in WSS and MOSS RRS feed

  • Can anyone adivce the diffarences between develping a workflow in WSS and MOSS. Is any links defined for this.What are additional features came through the MOSS workflow other than the default business workflows.

  • Seems, no difference.

    Both WSS and MOSS have got same SPD activities.

    True (perhaps) but only as far as SPD workflows (and probably VS workflows) are concerned - which is probably what you were thinking of.

    The main difference is in the built-in workflows. WSS 3.0 provides only the three-stage workflow. MOSS 2007 provides that and several more workflows such as the "approval" workflows.

     

    Note: How we interpret the question and why we interpret it differently probably is connected with what we think "custom workflows" means. I can understand restricting a reply to SPD+VS workflows because of the word "custom".

                       Thanks you for ur reply.

                       The diffarence you metioned is physical diffarence.

                     Actually i meant of developing a custom SPD workflow using visual studio. I am stuck in the sharepoint version like if any new functinalities or methods differ in these two? My doubt is in that level.
