Multiple Displays

    Question

  • Is it possible to build a windows store app that can utilize multiple displays? I have read in stackoverflow that the Windows Store Apps can't use external displays by design. Is this true? I'd like to build an app that can project UI to a different display much like Powerpoint. In WPF. i could use Screen.AllScreens to determine the connected displays. Thanks in advance!

  • Hi Rivolvan

For multiple display support in windows store app, you could ref to ProjectionManager class, a new feature start from Win8.1

You can extend your screen to a projection or an external display. A sample can be found: http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowsapps/Projection-sample-526b3c1d
