  • There is two default GPOs implemented by default: Default domain controller policy and Default domain policy.

Default domain controller policy is used to ensure a secure environment for domain controllers.

Default domain policy is used to apply default domain strategy on users and computers. As an example I could specify the requirement of the use of strong passwords for domain users.
