change language and change default color in Expression Blend 4 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi I have two questions regarding expression blend 4.

    1. Can we change the language from CS to VB in Expression blend 4? in this, I have started the project and it wasn't a new project anymore.. So I wanted to change the language after the project is finish. If it's not possible using Expression Blend 4 itself , is there any 3rd party tool?

    2. In Expression Blend 4 while I created a rectangle with blue color, the second rectangle that I created  will also comes with blue color, how to create a default template for my rectangle that comes in only white color instead of using blue color again...?

    Thanks,

    Coon!

  • 1) I'm afraid neither Expression Blend nor Visual Studio  will allow you to open an existing app.
pull a language selection from a dropdown menu and switch from language to another (VB.Net to C#),
then recompile and expect a result... that just won't work...
In your case I would suggest to create a new version of your application, this time selecting a new language.

There are some C# to VB.Net|VB.Net to C# conversion tools available,
one you can use on line for free is Telerik
    http://converter.telerik.com/

That's a begining and still you may need to add a bit of finishing touch in your code afterwards...

2)I would suggest using or creating a theme, the following link shows you how

If this answers your question, please Mark as an answer. Thank you.
