Docker service doesn't start unless logged in at least once RRS feed

  • Question

  • Building a silent install and configure script in PowerShell for Docker Engine in Server 2016. It seems that the Docker service will not start unless a user logs in interactively to the system to allow the Hyper-V switch and bridge adapter to be installed, and the VMSMP service to get installed and started. I've tried various things to work around it such as starting all services mentioned in logs prior to those events happening, and nothing is working. Has anyone else successfully been able to install, configure, and actually start the Docker daemon in an automated fashion?
