  • Question

  • Hello,
    setting the StartTimeZone and EndTimeZone of an appItem works for
    MyTZ =  "W. Europe Standard Time"
    but not for MyTZ =  “Santiago”
    Why?

    Here is my code:

    Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.TimeZones TZ = app.TimeZones;

    string MyTZ =  “Santiago”;

    appItem.StartTimeZone = TZ[MyTZ];

    appItem.EndTimeZone = TZ[MyTZ];

    Thanks

Answers

  • Because there is no timezone named "Santiago". The time zone id is "Pacific SA Standard Time".

    You can see the available time zones in OutlookSpy - click Application button, select the Timezones property, click Browse, go to the IEnumVariant tab, find the timezone that you need.
