SQL Server Management studio Query

Can you confirm if SQL Desktop Client (Management Studio) would require license for connecting to DB running on Azure VM and running report.

Hi prinav,

You can use SQL Server Express Management Studio to connect to  SQL Server running on Azure VM .  SQL Server Express Management Studio is free and doesn't require license, you can download it from Microsoft Download Center.

No need licence as MS SQL Express version is providing with management studio.
