usb rndis device automatically updated to serial com port in windows 10 RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have wince device. This device connect with windows 7 and detect as Generic USB RNDIS.

    But, when connect with Windows 10 it's detecting as serial com port.

    Is there any fix for detect as usb rndis in windows 10 instead of serial com port.

    On Windows 7 Hardware Id is:   USB\VID_045E&PID_0302&REV_0000
                                                   USB\VID_045E&PID_0302

    USB Serial Device:

    On Windows 10 Hardware Id is: USB\VID_045E&PID_0302&REV_0000

    On Windows 10, what VID/PID shows up in the device manager for your device?

    Is your Windows 10 PC up to date with drivers and the OS?
