Hi all, i saw in the Lync SDk MSPL video that Visual Studio is used either to write MSPL script for Lync or Managed Application.
What I would like to know is which version of visual studio I have to get. I see at http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/eng/downloads that there are so many versions of it, so which one?

Any SKU of Visual Studio 2012 should be fine. You can try starting with Visual Studio Express 2012 for Windows Desktop, which is free and has only the core features.

You can use any text editor to create those MSPL scripts, they are not compiled by Visual Studio. So, the answer is "any version of Visual Studio, or none at all if you prefer."

Ok for MSPL scripts, but if i would aslo like to create a managed applications?
